Composer Steve Dobrogosz wrote a piece of music for the choir ‘Opus’ inspired by the love sonnet’s of Shakespeare. Opus asked Femke to make a collection also about love. To her love means two individuals become one. They go through evolvement and growth. A couple in love go through different stages: she used these phases to represent the evolvement: the blinding amorousness, persistent trust, ‘boring’ safety, powerful connection. Growing forms and blending colours represent the merge of two loving souls.
